Cozy Moments & Hints of Spring

I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day, full of love, little joys, and maybe even some sweet treats! I’m so glad to be back after missing last Sunday—I hurt my back and needed time to rest, but I’m feeling much better now.

Even though winter is still holding on, there are signs that spring is not too far away. There is a little more daylight each day. Tulips are appearing in the grocery store. And somehow, those small shifts brings a little extra energy.

I love finding small ways to bring the promise of spring into the home. This week’s Sunday Favorites is all about cozy comforts, sweet treats, and subtle seasonal touches to brighten your space and your week.

Cozy Comforts for Now

There’s nothing better than a pot of Hearty Chicken with Sweet Potato & Kale Soup simmering on the stove while something sweet bakes in the oven. This time of year calls for simple comforts—like buttery Scottish Shortbread or sweet Raspberry Bars cooling on the counter. Nourishing meals and homemade treats feel just right for slow weekends and relaxed evenings at home. Light a candle, pull out a favorite blanket, and lean into the comfort of the season.

Subtle Touches of Spring

Even while winter lingers, I love adding small hints of spring around the house. A vase of fresh flowers on the kitchen table. Heavy fabrics swapped out for lighter linens and soft pastel accents tucked into seasonal décor instantly brighten a space.

I’m also inspired by a few ideas from around the web like:

These ideas make the transition to spring feel gentle and inspiring.

Spring Wreath Inspiration

This is also the perfect time to start thinking about spring wreaths. Soft greenery and pastel blooms create a beautiful transitional look. My Easy DIY Floral Spring Wreath and Pink and White Floral Spring Wreath both add just the right touch of fresh color, while the DIY Spring Tulip Wreath brings that classic, cheerful pop that feels like the first true sign of the season. For an extra layer of charm, a simple DIY Wreath Sash can instantly elevate any wreath.

Spring wreaths are one of the easiest ways to refresh your home and gently welcome a new season – slowly, simply, and beautifully.

Along with my own wreath projects, I am sharing a few affordable spring wreaths from around the web that offer seasonal style without a big investment.

Whether it’s a cozy soup, warm treats, DIY wreaths, or planning for spring, I hope this week’s favorites bring warmth and inspiration to your home. I hope you stay safe, cozy, and enjoy the little touches that make winter feel a bit brighter.
