Tuesday Turn About #210 Embracing the Summer Season

Are you embracing all of the goodness that comes with the summer season? At this week’s Tuesday Turn About link party, I am featuring seasonal inspiration to help you make the most of summer. Tuesday Turn About Link Party #210

Hi Friends and Happy Tuesday!

I hope your week is off to a great start! This week I was out shopping and couldn’t believe that the stores were already decked out for fall. While I love the season of fall, I was a little sad to see this. It’s only the second week of July, just a few weeks into the season of summer.

Why is it that many people (myself included) tend to focus on what’s next and not really embrace the present? That is something that I am really trying to be more mindful of. I would like to embrace and enjoy each day, and be fully present.

So, this week, I thought I would share some features that will encourage us to slow down and embrace all of the goodness that comes with the season of summer.

Julie’s Blogging Tip

This week, let’s talk about external links…

One of the best ways to get Google to recognize your blog is to have Domain Authority (DA). This means that you are an established ‘source’ for information pertaining to a certain subject, or subjectS.

Using external links on your blog posts is one way to help with this. Add links to other sites that have ‘authority’ on the subject you are writing about. For example, if you are sharing a Mother’s Day printable, link to a Hallmark post that shares phrases to write in a Mother’s Day card. This not only provides great info for your readers, but also shows Google that you are using exceptional resources for your blog post! Win-win!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope you enjoy a beautiful week ahead!

  2. You are so sweet to share my simple ways to reset this summer post, Lynne, thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I went into Joanns the other day to try to find something for a summer tablescape and was shocked to see the entire floral area decked out in fall colors. It was totally bananas. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely a planner but I also hate to be rushed Cheers for slowing down and remembering what matters most sweet friend! Big hugs and thank you again for the kind feature, CoCo
