Tuesday Turn About #213 Holding onto Summer
At this week’s Tuesday Turn About link party, we’re holding onto summer! I am sharing features that help us embrace and enjoy the summer season. Tuesday Turn About Link Party #213
Happy Tuesday and welcome to Tuesday Turn About!
At last week’s party, we shared some bittersweet news. Cindy left TTA to be able to free up time for other blog tasks. I have loved working with this amazing lady and will miss co-hosting with her.
So this week, Julie and I are happy to welcome you back to Tuesday Turn About…with a couple of new changes! 🙂
The first change is that we are going to bring you Tuesday Turn About earlier! The party will start at 6am EST on Tuesday and end at midnight on Friday (12am Saturday) EST.
To celebrate these new beginnings, we will also be featuring even more bloggers each week! This week we are happy to each share FIVE amazing blog posts with you.
Be sure to hop over to My Wee Abode to check out FIVE additional features from Tuesday Turn About! If you haven’t been featured at My Family Thyme this week, you may have been featured there!
Though not a requirement at all, we would love it if you would subscribe and/or follow your hostesses on one or more of our social medias:
Household Tip
In the summer heat and humidity that so many of us are experiencing, table salt tends to solidify and clump inside the salt shaker. To prevent this, I have an easy trick to share with you. Add a few grains of rice to the salt. The rice will absorb moisture and keep the salt dry.
Julie’s Blogging Tip
Be sure to check your plug-ins for updates on, at least, a monthly basis.
AND, be sure to be part of a good Facebook group that can keep you updated on whether you SHOULDN’T update a particular plug-in. Sometimes, updating a plug-in that has an issue can ‘break’ your blog.

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
