Winter Weather has a way of slowing everything down. When the world outside turns quiet and white, it feels like an invitation to stay in, light a candle, and lean into simple comforts. I hope everyone stays safe, warm, and cozy, wherever you are.

This week’s Sunday Favorites is all about embracing that pause. With warm soup simmering on the stove, treats baking in the oven, and Valentine’s Day finds to add a little love to your home during these winter days.

Cozy Soups for Cold Days

There’s nothing like a pot of soup simmering on the stove, while the snow falls outside. My weekend’s cozy line up includes this Simple and Hearty Chicken With Sweet Potato & Kale Soup and an Easy and Delicious Crockpot Chili – delicious to enjoy while watching football. These can both be made on the stove or in the slow cooker, making them ideal for a relaxed game-day lunch or a warm comforting dinner. Hearty, nourishing, and perfect for a winter day.

I had never tried Lasagna Soup until a few weeks ago, when someone brought it to our school soup club – and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. This Lasagna Soup recipe from Tastes Better From Scratch looks absolutely delicious, with easy-to-follow steps and great reviews. I plan to give it a try this week!

Have you ever crafted with air-dry clay? You will be inspired to give it a try when you see these beautiful Botanical Imprint Clay Heart Ornaments from Jennifer from Cottage on Bunker Hill. I can’t wait to give these a try!
