Instructions for Making a DIY Pinecone Christmas Tree
Beginning at the base of the paper mache tree/cone form, hot glue the mini pine cones to the form.
Work your way from the bottom up to the top of the cone, positioning the pine cones as close together as possible, so there are no large gaps.
Add some decorations to your pinecone tree.
Using your wire cutters, cut apart the artificial berries.
Then, using hot glue, add the artificial berries to add a pop of color and shine. Adding berries is also a helpful way to fill in and hide any gaps that have occurred when fitting the pine cones together on the form.
Where can I display my Pinecone Christmas Tree?
Add this beautiful natural decoration anywhere you would like some holiday cheer! I have decided to display mine on my kitchen table. I created a little vignette in this pretty copper tray.
This pinecone Christmas tree would also look beautiful displayed:
- on a side table
- as a centerpiece
- on a mantle
- on a coffee table
- on a shelf
- on a dresser
I love how this pinecone tree turned out! With its natural look, it could definitely be displayed throughout the winter and not just at Christmas time.
