Sunday Favorites: A Cozy Weekly Favorites Roundup to Savor the Season
This week’s Sunday Favorites is a cozy weekly roundup of simple seasonal inspiration and affordable last minute gift ideas to help you savor the season.
Happy Sunday, friends! Welcome to this week’s Sunday Favorites! This week, I’ve rounded up a cozy blend of festive inspiration and holiday cheer, with plenty of affordable last-minute gift ideas.
This has been such an exciting week for our family. We traveled to Charlotte to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and the incredible milestone of earning her BSN from Northeastern University. We moved her back to CT yesterday, where she will begin a new career as an oncology nurse. We are so incredibly proud of her compassion, dedication, and hard work. It was so wonderful for us to celebrate together!
Now that I am back at home, I need to turn my attention to preparing for this upcoming week…our last full week before Christmas. It’s a snowy day here in CT, so it is the perfect day to have a cozy, creative day at home. I can’t wait to get this holiday simmer pot going and start crafting. I will be making a new wreath, similar to this ribbon wreath. I’ll be sharing it tomorrow. I know it will a great decoration or gift!
I am also planning on doing some baking today. Before I left, I stocked up on ingredients, so I would be prepared to be snowed in and bake. I will be making my grandmother’s Scottish shortbread, chocolate mint candy cookies, these white chocolate cranberry cookies, along with another recipe that I will be sharing later this week! What are some of your favorite holiday cookies?
