With Leap Year, Spring has arrived a little earlier and I couldn’t be happier! Since turning the clocks ahead, it is really starting to feel like spring is here in Connecticut. Even though we’re all still missing that hour of sleep and felt a little tired last week, I am loving the extra hour of daylight.
I am still smiling from this past weekend. Both kids were home and we celebrated their birthdays, a little early. Elisabeth has recently begun to follow a gluten-free diet, so she and I baked a gluten-free cookie cake for her. Then Chris and I cooked dinner together. We had Lemon Chicken from Natasha’s Kitchen…one of our favorites and so easy to adapt for Lis’ diet. After dinner, we watched the basketball game and cheered on our UCONN Huskies.
As a life-long Connecticut girl, I am a big UCONN basketball fan. I am so excited for March Madness. Are you a basketball fan too?

Lynne’s Household Tip
To keep your shower head clean, just fill a Ziplock bag with white cleaning vinegar. With a rubber band, secure the bag to the shower head. Let it sit about an hour. Remove and wipe off any grime or build up from your shower head. So easy!
