Tuesday Turn About #141 Dreaming of Spring

Hello Friends! Welcome to Tuesday Turn About!

Tuesday Turn About banner

Are you noticing all of the little signs that tell us spring is around the corner? Here in Connecticut, the snow is melting and we can finally see the grass. There’s a little more daylight each day and a few daffodils are starting to pop up through the ground. On Monday morning, I actually heard birds chirping and I couldn’t help but smile.

I am praying for peace in the world. With all of the heartbreaking unrest in Ukraine, it doesn’t feel natural to post; however this blogging community continues to be a bright spot in so many lives. I am so happy to be here celebrating the work and creativity of some talented bloggers. Thank you for linking up and inspiring me and so many others with your beautiful posts.

This week’s features include beautiful DIYs, recipes, and great tips that will bring some cheer and inspiration for spring!

Be sure to hop over to My Wee Abode and Reinvented Delaware to check out SIX additional features from Tuesday Turn About! If you haven’t been featured at My Family Thyme this week, you may have been featured there!

Before I share this week’s fabulous features, I have a helpful tip for you!

Be sure to visit each blog, each week, to get some great tips for the home (and for blogging too)!

Weekly Household Tip

Did you ever stop to think about cleaning your dishwasher? I didn’t until recently, when mine was being repaired. The repairman showed me all of the grime and build up in the hoses and explained me that the dishwasher actually needed cleaning on a regular basis. Am I the only one who didn’t know this?

What is the solution?  Of course, it is my favorite cleaner, vinegar.

Just take 1/2 to 1 cup of distilled white vinegar and pour it into the bottom of your dishwasher. Then run the dishwasher through a cycle, without any dishes. He advised me to do this once a month to help keep the dishwasher and hoses clean. Genius!

Now, let’s start the party!
