Make an Easy and Inexpensive DIY Fall Wreath

Welcome fall into your home and make an easy and inexpensive DIY fall wreath! This fall paper leaf wreath is simple to put together and will add a seasonal touch to your home.

Equipment

  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 glue gun
  • finger protectors for hot glue

Materials

  • 1 grapevine wreath
  • ribbon your choice of width and pattern
  • paper card stock leaf cut outs
  • artificial acorns

Instructions

  • If you are making your leaves, score and cut them using a Cricut machine and scoring tool. Sort your materials.
  • Wrap ribbon around wreath, spacing it out. Attach ribbon together with a dot of hot glue. Cut excess ribbon.
  • Start with large leaves, glue leaves on the grapevine wreath, alternating colors and styles.
  • Glue artificial acorns on wreath.

Notes

Using my Cricut and the Cricut scoring tool, I made a variety of leaves that I found with my subscription on Cricut Design Space.
If you don’t have a Cricut or access to Cricut Design Space, you can use any leaf cardboard cut-outs. I linked a variety of these in the Shop my Post banner. Etsy shops are a great resource for these.
