How to Make the Most Delicious Guacamole

Creamy and flavorful, this authentic guacamole recipe will become a favorite! Once you try this delicious guacamole, you won't want to eat store-bought again!

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 ripe Haas avocados
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 lime, halved
  • 2-3 plum tomatoes, seeded
  • 1-2 tbsp jarred jalapeno peppers drained and diced
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Dice half of a red onion.
  • To the onion, add about 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt and the juice of one squeezed lime.
  • Next slice your avocados in half and remove the pits. Using a spoon slice the avocado into small chunks and then scoop them into your bowl. Mash the avocados.
  • Once you have all of the avocado in your bowl, get ready to add jalapeno peppers. Take a tablespoon or two of the jalapeno peppers and dice them into small pieces. Add these to the mixture.
  • Next start out by seeding the tomatoes. Then, dice the tomatoes. Add these to your guacamole.
  • Save a few tomato pieces to sprinkle on top! Add chopped fresh cilantro and parsley, if you choose.
  • Finally mix the guacamole well. Salt to taste. Top with tomato pieces.

Notes

A little tip: roll the lime before slicing it in half and squeezing it. This will help you get the most juice out of it
