The Vintage Market Days®Comes to Connecticut

The Vintage Market Days® brings its charm to New England with an event in Connecticut!

Have you ever heard the phrase, “Everything old is new again?”  This is especially true right now in home décor.  With popular HGTV shows like Fixer Upper and Flea Market Flip, many people are looking to create a vintage-inspired farmhouse aesthetic in their own homes.

What is The Vintage Market Days®?

The Vintage Market Days® is a franchised vintage event that recently came to my home-state of Connecticut for the first time. During the weekend of May 4-6, the Harwinton Fair grounds was transformed into a charming, family friendly atmosphere with a variety of vendors, both local to our home state and from across the country.

The day was filled with treasure troves of antiques, food trucks, live music and the company of those just looking for their next great find. The sights of home décor enthusiasts, families and those simply looking for an enjoyable weekend activity coming together and supporting independently owned and operated small businesses was refreshing and truly inspiring.

Jodi Rhoades has brought the event to Connecticut saying that, “I wanted to create an event that carried the true essence of what I love most about vintage, antiques, art and handmade treasures that I could share with my fellow treasure hunters; that is what Vintage Market Days® is all about.”

Vintage Market Days® of West Connecticut is returning to Harwinton, Connecticut for the weekend of Friday, October 26th through Sunday, October 28th. This upscale market will highlight great independently owned businesses, such as Mad Dash Mixes, The Accidental Farmgirl Co., and 2 Sister’s Designs, all while still benefitting Prime Time House, Inc., a local non-profit organization that assists adults with mental illness in leading the most productive lives possible. Tickets for the upcoming event will be available in the near future.
