Tuesday Turn About #168: Fall Porch Inspiration

This week’s link party has started! Tuesday Turn About #168 Fall Porch Inspiration

Hello, my friends. I hope you are enjoying the start of the week.

We are finally having our first full week of school and we are all settling into our new routines.

I have been spending time this week watching all of the tributes to Queen Elizabeth. I have always had a fascination, love, and respect for the The Royal Family and the United Kingdom. The Queen represented an era of such elegance, grace, and strength. She will be missed.

Autumn is just around the corner. Leaves are beginning to show their colors, while vibrant mums and pumpkins are starting to appear at our local stores and farm stands. If you are like me, you might be getting excited to add some seasonal touches to your home.

One of my favorite places to decorate is my front porch. I love trying out different color combinations, along with a variety of pumpkins, gourds, and unique details. So this week, I am excited to feature some beautiful inspiration to make the most of your fall porch.

Let’s get this party started!

Weekly Household Tip

When you are cooking or baking, do you ever get sticky ingredients stuck in your measuring cup? I have a solution for you!

Before you measure out your molasses or peanut butter, fill the measuring cup with hot water. Pour out the water, but do not dry the cup. Now, add your ingredient. It should easily come out.

Weekly Blogging Tip

Today’s tip is quick.

After you have finished writing a post, got through and read the whole post (you can even do it in a whisper so you don’t feel COMPLETELY crazy) aloud to yourself. This WILL help you find grammar mistakes, incorrect spelling, and sometimes even a ‘flow’ issue (on those nights when you are writing into the wee hours of the morning)!

  1. Thanks for the party and tips, Lynne. I will try the hot water! Pacing my time with indoor fall decor and the antique booth displays I share with two sisters (always needing to be a step ahead on both, sharing #16, 17), the outdoor decor comes last for me, lol. Summer annuals stick around until early October here in WV, but I’m working on seeding grass with cooler temps now. Have a great week!

  2. Thanks again for hosting this charming party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it I truly appreciate it!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie

  3. Happy September! Whenever I see a collection of wonderfully decorated front porches I admit to a wee bit of jealousy. My front “porch” is barely large enough to welcome visitors, though it does hold a planter urn. Sigh . . .

  4. So much lovely inspiration for our front porches here! I need to go looking for some mums now!

  5. Thanks so much for hosting each week, Lynne, and for featuring my front porch and door decor too. I really appreciate it. I love all the features you chose and I hope your week has been a special one, CoCo

  6. It’s always great to host the link party with you my friend!
