Tuesday Turn About #136 New Beginnings

Happy Tuesday!

Welcome to the Tuesday Turn About Link Party! For those of you who are new to My Family Thyme, welcome! I am so happy you are here!

My name is Lynne. I am a Connecticut wife, mom of two young adults, and fourth grade teacher. I started My Family Thyme as a place to share my love for all things home and family.

I am thrilled to be joining my friend Julie, who blogs at My Wee Abode and Cindy, from Reinvented Delaware, as a new co-host for the Tuesday Turn About Link Party! Through the years I have admired and been inspired by the previous cohosts, Michelle from Thistle Key Lane and Carol of Blue Sky At Home. I am excited for what is next for them and will be cheering them on.

I was honored when my blogging buddy, Julie, reached out to ask me if I would like to co-host. Julie is one of the kindest, most encouraging people and I am so thankful to call her my friend.

Cindy and I recently met and I can already tell that we will be great friends. We are both beyond excited to be teaming up with Julie to continue to bring you Tuesday Turn About each week!

Weekly Household Tip

Are you looking to clean your cutting board naturally? Try using half of a lemon with a little course salt to scrub the surface. Then just rinse with water.

Weekly Blogging Tip

Did you know that if you are using Gutenberg, you can ‘group’ blocks together? This way, you can make sure an ad doesn’t interrupt an image that you want to be immediately followed by a paragraph or links.

The Group Blocks option can be found by hovering over a block and clicking on the three dots on the right of the pop-up box. Click on “Group Block”. A ‘chain’ will now appear to the left of the pop-up window. Now, you can drag additional blocks into the first one and they will ‘become one’. Here’s a video from WP Apprentice with another easy way to create Group Block in Gutenberg!

Now, let’s get to the party!

Cindy of County Road 407 shares her adorable Valentine Tool Caddy. Those pretty pink roses and baby’s breath in vintage bottles just make me smile. Cindy also has great ideas of how to use this caddy for gift giving.
