Hello and Welcome to October’s Pinterest Challenge!

Each month, our lovely host Cindy from CountyRoad407.com, chooses a photo each month to inspire a group of creative blogging buddies. Using the inspiration photo, we recreate something similar, but in our own personal style.

Cindy put a little twist on the challenge this month. The Pinterest Challenge for October is all about cranberries! Isn’t that perfect for the fall?

If you are visiting from Kristin’s blog, White Arrows Home, welcome! I am so glad you are here! I always love visiting Kristin’s cozy Wisconsin log cabin. Kristin always shares the most creative ideas and this challenge is no exception. Doesn’t her holiday coffee table styling look beautiful?

Here is our beautiful inspiration photo for my Simple DIY Holiday Jar Floating Candles with Boxwood and Cranberries.

The natural red and green elements in these holiday jar candles make them perfect for your seasonal decor!

Use these DIY holiday jar candles as part of a tablescape, seasonal vignette, or anywhere you would like to add a holiday touch.

Tips and Notes

  • Trade out the fresh boxwood for other greens. You might like clipping of spruce, cedar, holly, or ivy.
  • Add some pretty seasonal ribbon to decorate your jar. Please be mindful of the ribbon when lighting the tealight candles.
  • Do not use battery-operated tealight candles in water.
  • Change out your greenery and cranberries every 5 days or when the water begins to look cloudy.
