This month our beautiful inspiration photo comes to us from the OrganicFacts.net. This photo looks like summer. It makes me want to head over to my local farm stand and buy some fresh peaches. It is my inspiration for my Easy Baked Peaches with Brown Sugar Crumble recipe.

Summertime Recipes

With only 5 simple ingredients, these Baked Peaches with Brown Sugar Crumble is a quick and easy summertime dessert.

Baked Peaches with Brown Sugar Crumble Ingredients:

  • Unsalted butter – softened to room temperature
  • Light brown sugar – this adds a mild, sweet caramel-like flavor
  • Cinnamon – this spice adds a warm, sweet flavor
  • Old fashioned oats – these rolled oats are flat, flaky, and usually used in baking
  • Peaches – fresh and ripe

How to Make Baked Peaches with Brown Sugar Crumble

  1. First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the butter, sugar, cinnamon, and oats. Mix using a pastry blender.
  4. Place the peaches in a baking dish.
  5. Fill each peach with the brown sugar, cinnamon oat mixture.
  6. Bake between 15 -30 minutes. The baking time will vary depending on how ripe your peaches are. If you would like softer peaches, you may need to bake them longer.

How to Serve Baked Peaches?

You can enjoy these baked peaches plain, with whipped cream, or with vanilla ice cream. They would also be delicious served with the addition of rich, sweet caramel sauce. Yum!

Tips and Recipe Notes

  • Use room temperature ingredients. Let the butter sit out so it is at room temperature.
  • If you don’t have a pastry blender, you can just use a fork.
  • The baking time will vary depending on the ripeness of your peaches. Use a fork to check your baked peaches for softness.
